Planning & Control System - More information: www.ag5.nl Business Integration System - In partnership with a North American Blue Chip corporation CosmoCows has developed and implemented a system for integration of passenger transportation businesses. The system was developed for a key player in the Dutch passengers transport market. It integrates planning, purchase and sales of participating transportation providers in order to enhance customer transportation service and increase efficiency. A web interface fully supports all interactions between the participating transportation providers and their customers. Logistics & Finance System - For the abovementioned corporation, in a follow-up project, a system was developed for financial control. This ancillary system integrates all financial aspects of the earlier developed business integration platform into the existing financial system of their parent company. Decision Support System - For one of the world leaders in heavy lifting and transportation services with offices in more than 40 different countries, people of CosmoCows helped to develop a decision support tool. The tool facilitates collection and distribution of data related to logistical shipping operations ranging from port-, ship- and cargo characteristics to fuel consumption, construction of plant sites, ship movements and much more. The collected information is ordered, integrated and presented in a concise manner to facilitate effective qualitative analysis. Next to qualitative analysis support, the system fully aids quantitative analysis. It facilitates simulation and comparing and contrasting of different business scenarios. The tool greatly assists and supports strategic business decisions, allowing anticipation on business opportunities ahead of competition. The system supports web enabled data collection and retrieval. Delivery Performance System - For an international mass producer of metal packaging containers a system was built for measurement and analysis of manufacturing and supply chain performance of a manufacturing plant. The tool's tracking horizon ranges from raw material purchase, through different phases of product fabrication to delivery and acceptance of the ordered products by the customer. The integral and detailed tracking of performance throughout the entire supply- and manufacturing chain allowed for clearer insight and consequentially yielded tremendous improvements for the customer.
